FAQ
What is the monthly fee for using the platform? Is it refundable?
A: RiceKOL charges a monthly platform usage fee. During the subscription period, merchants can establish campaigns and accept applications regardless of the number of times. If a subscription is not renewed after its expiration, the merchant will not be able to establish campaigns or accept applications. The platform usage fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Where can I find the “Suspend” / “Cancel” button if I need to temporarily suspend or cancel a campaign due to special circumstances?
A: In the RiceKOL app, click on “Campaigns” at the bottom left corner, then click on the relevant campaign. On the new page, click on “Suspend” / “Cancel” at the bottom left corner.
What are the refund rules if special circumstances arise that require editing the campaign budget amount / suspending / canceling the campaign?
A: If a merchant suspends a campaign during its campaign period, the remaining budget balance will be retained within the campaign. If a merchant edits the campaign budget amount to be less than the remaining budget amount, the balance will be refunded in the form of vouchers and will be processed within seven working days. If a merchant cancels a campaign during its campaign period, the remaining budget balance will be refunded to the account in the form of vouchers and will be processed within seven working days after all accepted campaign reservations are completed.
Please note that vouchers can only be used for establishing campaigns and are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable for cash under any circumstances.
What should be noted when editing/canceling accepted campaign applications during a campaign period?
A: Merchants can edit and change the campaign duration and content. However, if the edited campaign content needs to be applied to users who have already been accepted applications by merchants, users can choose whether to accept the changes. If not accepted, the participation in the campaign will be canceled. If there are any distributed products, used services, or discounts, the users do not need to return, and the merchant still needs to pay half of the task reward. If the edited campaign content does not need to be applied to previously accepted qualified users, the campaign will be based on the content at the time of their application. Merchants can cancel accepted campaign applications. If there are any distributed products, used services, or benefits, they do not need to be returned, and the merchant also needs to pay half of the task reward. If a user’s draft of work has been approved and the work is officially published online, the cancellation of an accepted campaign application is not supported, and the full task reward will be paid.
What is the “Platform Payment Function Handling Fee”?
A: In order to safeguard the interests of KOL users and ensure a smooth process for distributing task rewards, the RiceKOL platform handles the distribution of task rewards on behalf of merchants. The “Platform Payment Function Handling Fee” is 10% of the task reward amount.
What are the consequences if a qualified user fails to submit a public sharing within the specified time frame after a campaign?
A: If the user fails to submit a public sharing within the specified time frame after a campaign, the user will be downgraded, and their account will be frozen, preventing them from making further reservations or viewing other campaigns. The RiceKOL app will keep issuing reminders about submitting the public sharing. Task rewards will only be distributed once the public sharing is completed.
How should merchants respond if they receive a cancellation from a user?
A: Merchants need to communicate with users regarding fees and arrangements for any distributed products, used services, or discounts. After reaching an agreement, the merchant can click on “Accept User Cancellation” within the application, and the task reward will not be distributed to the user.
