Collaboration Process

1. Overall Process

RiceKOL charges a monthly platform usage fee, allowing merchants to establish campaigns and accept applications regardless of number of times during the subscription period. Establishing promotion campaigns means inviting KOL users to the campaigns through RiceKOL, selecting users, and creating online promotional sharings based on the business cooperation model as per the merchant’s requirements. The overall process is as follows: Overall Process!

2. Initiating Collaboration

i. Confirming Collaborating KOL Users

a After establishing a campaign, merchants can allow eligible KOL users with relevant public platform requirements to sign up for the campaign through RiceKOL. Merchants select users and choose to “accept” or “reject” the applications.

b Upon successful matching, the task reward and platform payment processing fee (10% of the task reward amount) will be deducted from the campaign budget.

ii. Establishing Campaign Content

a. Brand Information and Cooperation Requirements

Based on the product characteristics and promotion goals, fill in relevant introductions and cooperation requirements.

b. Creating Activity

After filling in the cooperation requirements and campaign budget, once the campaign content is approved, the company (RiceKOL) will email the merchant. The merchant must follow the email instructions to complete the remaining steps and the campaign will be activated.

c. Collaboration Details

You can find the established campaign under “Campaigns” to view the campaign details and perform subsequent operations under “Applications”.

3. Draft Approval Confirmation

i. After users submit drafts, they need to await merchant approval.

ii. Merchant Review

Merchants can find users with pending draft approvals in “Applications”, click on the user, review the collaboration details, and carefully examine the draft. If satisfied, click “Accept Draft”; if not, click “Reject Draft” and provide detailed modification requirements. It is recommended to make a maximum of 3 revisions per collaboration.

4. Publishing Works

After the merchant’s approval, users must formally publish the works on the designated online platform. It is advised not to delete or edit the published works within 30 days.

5. Confirmation of Completion

Once the works are officially published, users upload the work links to complete the mission. RiceKOL will distribute the mission rewards on behalf of the merchant.

6. Editing the Campaign Content and Canceling Collaboration

After successful collaboration matching, the following conditions should be adhered to as per the terms and conditions:

i. Merchants editing the campaign period and content:
a. If the edited campaign content applies to previously accepted applications, the users can choose whether to accept the changes. If not accepted, participation in the campaign will be canceled. Any distributed products, used services, and benefits do not need to be returned, and the merchant still needs to pay half of the mission reward.
b. If the edited campaign content does not apply to previously accepted applications, the campaign will be based on the content at the time of user applications.

ii. Merchants can temporarily suspend campaigns during the promotional period: Accepted campaign application will continue as per the original terms. The promotion campaign can be resumed later. To cancel accepted applications, merchants must manually cancel them one by one*.

iii. Merchants can cancel campaigns during the promotional period. Accepted campaign applications will continue as per the original terms. To cancel accepted campaign applications, merchants must manually cancel them one by one*.

iv. Canceling accepted campaign applications means that any distributed products, used services, and discounts do not need to be returned, and the merchant also needs to pay half of the mission reward.

v. If users need to cancel accepted applications, they must communicate with the merchant. Once an agreement is reached, the merchant can accept the user’s cancellation within the application, and the task reward will not be paid to the user.
